Family Time

Christmas was enjoyable, yes that's right enjoyable. My Christmas started at 6:30 in the morning. Then at church which started at 10:00 we were almost late we sang Christmas Carols a lot and Pastor Kip read the Legend of the Three Trees. That is a good book, even though its a child's book I think I might add it to my collection. I got a few CDs. Phantom :D, Barlowgirl :D, and Narnia :D. and they are already on my computer. Anyway, the extended family came over for Christmas. We actually played games. There was this one with blocks and making paths on a board I liked it but cant remember the name. We played Apples to Apples, yes I got it, and we played LOTR Trivial Pursuit. So to recap, family is good.

Life is a funny thing

Well today I went to the mall and as usual I didn't buy anything. Just hung out with my friends. Then we migrated over to Best Buy the usual. So then Allison and I grew bored and desided to depart. Well we were heading back and something happened. the car started fishtailling! Soon Allison had lost almost all control. We did a 360 and then ended up in the ditch. Nothing too severe happened we are both alright. A little sore but alright. The adreneline running through us made us find the event quite funny. Allison tried calling people but she couldnt reach them at first. Then she recieved a flurry of phone calls while we were trying to get out. We were in the ditch for a good half hour. So when I was in there for some bizarre reason I remembered it was my friend's birthday. So I figured I am not going anywhere and I have a spare moment so I called her to wish her a happy birthday and talked about her train trip home. Meanwhile I was still in the ditch. So we finally got out and as you can read I made it home safely. The one thing that I found most peculiar was that of all the people on the highway only one man stopped and offered us his phone to make a call. Anyway I am at home now and am not planning on going anywhere the rest of the night and probably not anywhere else tomorrow and no where far for at least a couple of days. Well I'm out.

Everyting in Moderation

WHY, WHY, WHY must profs insist on finals and a final project it seems almost pointless to me. I have mixed feelings about this week. Part of me just wants the exams to be over but then I would have to go home and that is just not a nice place to be right now. But I know I can get through it, with the help of friends and Christmas being in there somewhere, not sure where I think its somewhere around the 25th Maybe. So to recap FINALS=BAD GOING HOME=BAD don't know which is worse yet. I must be off to write my paper, and Carthige must be destroyed
